Connected Learning Symposium

Connected Learning Symposium

Lasell University's Connected Learning Symposium is a campus-wide event showcasing the academic creativity of our students.  Launched in the Spring of 2002, we are proud to see the rise of new knowledge generated by our students. As our students develop and grow, so does each symposium.

Symposium Dates

Spring Symposium Showcase Day will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020.  Spring Symposium is part of the Spring Symposium Showcase Week, highlighted by many events and culminating in the Fashion Show Runway presented by the School of Fashion.

Fall Symposium will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2020.

Presentation Formats

Students present solo, in groups, or with their entire class. Presentations include moderated and timed talks, posters, panels, discussions, interactive collaborations, and art work in various formats. We are pleased to include intergenerational classes involving Lasell Village in our presentations. Their perspective enriches and deepens the knowledge base of our community.

Join Us

We welcome family, friends, emeriti faculty and alumni to join us for each symposium. Classes are not held on symposium days, allowing all students to attend the full day, where they can explore interests outside their major and support friends.  Guest parking will be available in the Maple Terrace Parking lot throughout Symposium Day, P8 on the campus map.
