Using Course Reserves

This page is intended for students. If you are a faculty member interested in placing items on course reserve, please see the page on Placing Course Reserves.

Brennan Library offers course reserves as arranged by professors each semester. Items on course reserve can be checked out for 2 hours and can not leave the library.

To search for items on course reserve, access the library catalog. You can search for:

  • The professor's last name (e.g., Commins)
  • Title (e.g., From Herodotus to H-Net)
  • Author (e.g., Popkin)

In addition, some reference books of interest to a wider audience, such as citation manuals and books on Lasell's history, are on general reserve. A list of general reserves is also available through the catalog.

If you have any questions on course reserves, please ask a librarian.
