You are immersed in the fashion industry from day one at Lasell’s School of Fashion.

Lasell's School of Fashion provides hands-on learning, taught by instructors who have frontline experience in design, production, merchandising, communication and promotion, marketing, and more. Students gain experience and a global perspective of the fashion industry by managing, producing, and promoting Runway, our annual fashion show. They also access Lasell’s extensive Fashion Collection for costume research.

Join Lasell's DECA chapter and build your leadership skills through designing programs for student engagement, including panels and speakers from industry, and competing in state and regional DECA competitions.

Industry Connections 

Build professional knowledge and connections through industry trade show visits, lectures from fashion leaders, access to prominent fashion industry resources and the School of Fashion Starter Network, a listing of current students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals who are available and eager to support you. 

Lasell Fashion Collection

Learn from historical fashion treasures with the Lasell Fashion Collection, which contains over 3,000 objects and spans 200 years of fashion history. You’ll experience the Lasell Fashion Collection in your classrooms, exhibitions, School of Fashion programming, and you can access many pieces through our online catalog. Named in Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston as Best University Collection.

National Retail Federation's Student Association

Lasell University's membership in the National Retail Federation Student Association (NRF) offers industry news, recognition, and networking opportunities, including attendance at NRF's annual Big Show and Student Program.

Students can sign up for a MyNRF account to get exclusive access to retail industry research, educational events, networking opportunities and scholarship programs.

Paris Immersion Program

With our Paris Immersion Program, you can travel to Paris, France, to work Men's Fashion Week, take classes with industry experts, and immerse yourself in the Paris fashion industry.

Gain practical experience as a writer, editor, photographer, stylist, producer, and designer with Lasell's award-winning, student-run fashion magazine, Polished.

RUNWAY Fashion Show

Showcase your design, merchandising, management, media, and marketing talents in RUNWAY, Lasell's student-run fashion show


Apply the decision-making, leadership, accounting, visual, merchandising, and marketing skills you learn in the classroom to Lasell's Retail Innovation Lab on campus, studio1851 — all while gaining valuable experience to put on your resume.
