Prepare for your career
Lasell Works offers a unique career preparation program designed to launch students into their professional futures.
Over the course of four years, students who participate in the Lasell Works program receive instruction from expert faculty, which helps them develop into marketable and successful employees in their fields.
What makes Lasell Works Special
- Lasell Works is a unique feature of our university that’s available in almost all of our academic areas.
- Sophomore year - you can take all of your classes online and work in an area related to your academic major or pursue other interests. We encourage you to continue to live on campus sophomore year, but you can choose to live at home.
- Junior year - return to campus (or commute from home if you prefer) to complete your courses in-person and continue your career prep with an internship and a variety of professional seminars until you graduate ready for full-time employment.
- A designated advisor for first and second year students.
- Priority access to professional seminars.
- Bi-monthly meetings with cohorts.
- 1st and 2nd year students are mentored by Junior and Senior Lasell Works participants.

Every major is included in the program except these: Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Education, Biochemistry, and Exercise Science.
Can I do Lasell Works and Study Abroad?
Yes, you can do both!
Can International students participate?
Yes, we encourage international students to apply.
