Academic Advising and First-Year Experience

Academic Advising

The Academic Advising Center provides a centralized location for all first-year students' academic advising services. A team of three professional advisors oversee all academic advising for undergraduate students, and serves as an additional resource for students and faculty. The Center for Academic Advising and First-Year Programs provides additional services for first-year students including First Year Seminar, peer mentoring and peer advising. The Center aims to help students succeed as productive members of the Lasell University community.

A specialized academic advisor works closely with students exploring major options, interests, and possible career paths before deciding on a major.
