Ashlyn Gamerman-Medeiros
Anthony started his college journey as a computer engineering student at another institution. He soon decided to pursue his longtime design passion at Lasell instead. His practicum project is a lifestyle brand called Beggar, which features beautifully stylized depictions of mythic characters. Ashlyn managed to dream up the perfect project for her practicum — one that combines her interests in storytelling, illustration and animals. The resulting project is a charming picture book that showcases her dynamic use of color and layout skills.

Cameron Fratus
Brayden distinguished himself in the program when, as a sophomore, he won a regional travel poster design contest. He went on to develop a strong interest in the branding aspect of design. His practicum project is a branding package for his own design company, Kroun. Cameron has been obsessed with visual storytelling since a young age. His interest and knowledge in storyboarding, comics and graphic novels all informed his senior practicum — a 100-page graphic novel called Robo Gamma, which tells the story of a robot overthrowing his creator.

Chet Lazare
As the layout designer for the college newspaper, Camille honed her publication design skills then put them to good use for her practicum project — a family cookbook. In presenting the recipes from her grandfather’s Italian diner, Camille produced a project that was highly personal, yet universal. Chet leveraged his longtime love of drawing and illustration skills for his practicum project, a branding package for his brother’s lifestyle brand, Voodoo. Chet tackled the challenge of making the potentially heavy subject matter light-hearted, yet still edgy.

Diana Fitzpatrick
David’s approach relies heavily on his skills in printmaking and drawing. He leveraged these more tactile approaches to bring a distinctly vintage look-and-feel to his practicum project, which was a branding package for a microbrew and biker-themed restaurant called Mom's. A lover of the outdoors and music-enhanced positivity, Diana could choose no better fitting project than a spec redesign of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. Her design features ornamental organic patterns inspired by Art Nouveau and the festival itself.

Haley Boyle
Ethan brought his punk sensibility and passion for skateboarding together in the designs for his practicum — a lifestyle brand called Dead Bent. Leveraging his DIY aesthetic and dark sense of humor, he has produced a look-and-feel that is both extreme and accessible. A committed environmentalist and lover of music and the outdoors, Hayley combined all her passions into a design package for the band Hours North. The resulting deliverables featured her strong drawing and printmaking skills, as well as her rootsy sensibility.

Jenna Mucci
With his practicum project, Team Xihibition, Jelani sought to create a more than a branding package. Instead, he set out to create a community. The resulting website is designed to be a showcase and on-line gathering place for artists of all stripes, enabling collaborations and artistic alliances. Jenna’s many years of involvement in the production of Lasell’s award-winning magazines — Polished and Tarnished — served her well when she reimagined a fashion magazine for her senior practicum project. Called Runway, the final product shows off her playful, yet structured, personal layout style.

Samantha Solomon
Melissa took her knowledge and interest in fitness and used it as the angle for her senior practicum project — a stylish workout guide. She used her photography skills to shoot friends in various workout poses, then turned these into silhouettes for the guide. For her senior practicum project, Samantha designed the branding and identity package for an imaginary tea shop. The designs, which feature the silhouettes of tea-making and tea-drinking implements, convey the boutique charm and style of Samantha’s dream venture.

William Montealegre
As a longtime member of the Lasell Chorus, Shawn Ridley wanted to give back to the organization that gave him so much during his college years. The resulting practicum project is a total branding package, complete with logo and event posters, for the college's rising choral group. During one of William’s great internships, he had the pleasure of creating designs for a candy brand. He decided to investigate this colorful area of branding and package design with his senior practicum project — an imaginary candy company called Willi-yums.
