Biography:

Greg has taught writing in the Boston area since 2005, including courses in composition, literature, and film studies at Northeastern University and Wheelock College (now a part of Boston University). In 2014, he successfully defended his dissertation "Transatlantic Poetry of the Long Eighteenth Century: Milton, Empire, and the Poetics of Liberty." His teaching focuses on argument, genre, citizenship, and social action. Since joining the Lasell faculty in 2018, Greg has focused on teaching WRT 101 and 102, and enjoys helping first year students find connections and belonging as citizens of the University, the city, and the nation. Recent presentations include "Between Rigor and Compassion: Plagiarism Through the Lens of Social Justice " at the 2022 Conference on College Composition & Communication and  "So By Plagiarism You Mean…?: Rethinking Plagiarism Practices to Embrace the Struggle " at the 2023 Conference on College Composition & Communication.
