Biography:
Greg has taught writing in the Boston area since 2005, including courses in composition, literature, and film studies at Northeastern University and Wheelock College (now a part of Boston University). In 2014, he successfully defended his dissertation "Transatlantic Poetry of the Long Eighteenth Century: Milton, Empire, and the Poetics of Liberty." His teaching focuses on argument, genre, citizenship, and social action. Since joining the Lasell faculty in 2018, Greg has focused on teaching WRT 101 and 102, and enjoys helping first year students find connections and belonging as citizens of the University, the city, and the nation. Recent presentations include "Game Changer: Strategies for Incorporating Technological Literacy into First-Year Writing" at the 2019 Conference on the Teaching of Writing and "Creating and Using Real-Time Assessment in a First-Year Writing Program" at the 2018 New England Assessment Network.
