What is it?
Student Activities and Orientation Activities Office Assistants serve as the front line of the Office of Student Activities and Oreientation, providing customer service via phone and in person to students, faculty, staff, parents and community. This position provides event support during campus wide programs such as Family, Friends and Alumni Weekend, Activities Fairs, Sophomore Connection and The Awards Banquet.

Who is eligible?
Lasell student in good academic and conduct standing.

What would I do exactly?
Field questions from on and off campus individuals in person, on the phone and via email; provide as much information in response to questions as possible or refer to the appropriate campus resource. Daily tasks include answering the phone and emails, data entry, printing, and copying. The Office of Student Activities and Orientation oversees a variety of ticket sales and the Activities Assistant would oversee the selling of all tickets.

What will I learn?
Students who work in the office learn professionalism, customer service, accountability and office skills. Students will learn how to work independently as well as in a team setting.

Recruitment Schedule: Hiring for this position happens in the beginning of each semester based on need. Applications would be available at the Activities Fair.
