Corey Thomas

We are honored to announce that Corey Thomas will deliver the Lasell University Undergraduate Commencement address for the Class of 2026.

Corey Thomas is Chief Executive Officer of Boston-based global cybersecurity company Rapid7 who brings cross-industry leadership through his service on multiple boards. He currently chairs the boards of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce as well as serving on the boards of LPL Financial and Vanderbilt University.

A prominent voice in technology and business, Thomas has been appointed to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and has served with the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.  An active champion for the technology community, he is also an angel investor, advisor to companies navigating digital transformation, and a frequent speaker on innovation and leadership.

Thomas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in electrical engineering and computer science from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
