Alfred Wilson

We are honored to announce that Alfred Wilson will deliver the Lasell University Graduate Commencement address for the Class of 2026.

Alfred Wilson is an influential advocate for the arts, education, and community development. Wilson established Beyond Walls to galvanize communities, eliminate barriers to art, expand educational and training opportunities for teachers and students, support local businesses, and promote visitation to urban areas that strengthen regional economies.

Prior to launching Beyond Walls, Wilson worked in sales and operations in both the technology and health care industries, building teams and opening satellite offices across the country. 

Since its founding in 2017, Beyond Walls has brought world-class art and artists to 18 gateway cities. In less than a decade, the organization has completed nearly 300 large-scale public art installations and responsive design projects, introduced arts curricula to public schools, and launched a commissioned services division, earning Wilson recognition as a leading catalyst for urban revitalization.

Wilson is a graduate of Bridgewater State University.
