The School of Communication & the Arts provides students the opportunity to gain first-hand industry experiences from their start at Lasell. Students are prepared for dynamic and creative careers with Lasell's award-winning student publications such as PolishedTarnished, and the 1851 Chronicle, networking events like SOCA Day, student clubs and organizations, campus studios like WLAS 102.9 FM Lasell University Radio, college-sponsored immersive trips like the Washington D.C. Immersion Trip, professional internships, and more.

The School of Communications & the Arts' faculty members are experienced in print, online, and broadcast journalism, digital storytelling, fine art, and graphic design.
