Clothing
When thinking about packing clothing, keep this in mind: the seasons change quickly in New England, so it’s a good idea to bring some clothing appropriate for summer temperatures, and some for colder days.
- Your residence room may be warm at night, depending on what floor you reside.
- Dress for class is casual. Some classes will have special occasions for which you will be encouraged to dress up, you may want to bring some dress/professional clothes.
- Be sure to bring a winter coat, mittens, a hat, and boots. Sweaters, sweatshirts, and warm pants are also important garments for the winter months.
- It rains frequently in the Boston area, so be sure to bring an umbrella or raincoat.
