Position Description:
The Health and Exercise Science Graduate Assistant will be a pivotal support to the undergraduate students in the School of Health Science. They will be additional resources and embedded tutors in courses as needed such as: Anatomy and Physiology, Physics, Research Methods, Capstone, Exercise Physiology, Microbiology. This GA will also work to establish a deeper relationship between the School of Health Science and Lasell Village. Further, the GA will establish a peer mentoring program. This position reports to Sarah Giasullo, Graduate Program Chair.

Support classroom instruction, laboratory instruction, and be available for additional academic support.

Maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment and be responsible for maintenance and inventory of equipment.

Set up classroom space for weekly activities as needed.

Train adjunct faculty on proper equipment use and care.

Develop a peer mentoring program for seniors to be peer mentors for underclassmen.

Oversee social media accounts for School or Health Science.

Involvement with community outreach with Lasell Village.

Other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Earned Bachelor's in Exercise Science, Health Science, or related field.
- Must be accepted into graduate program of a related discipline.
- Strong management, organizational, and technological skills
- Effective written and oral communicator
- Previous experience working with college students and special populations.
- Previous experience tutoring preferred.
Required Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
