The online Bachelor of Science in Health Science program provides students with the opportunity to pursue a pre-professional education that provides preparation for careers in medicine, nursing, biomedical research, or healthcare management.
The multi-disciplinary approach is built upon a strong foundation in the biological sciences combined with coursework in the humanities and social sciences. In addition, students are presented with meaningful educational experiences based on the knowledge perspectives of the Lasell University core curriculum: creativity and aesthetics, scientific inquiry and problem solving, individuals and society, and global and historical perspectives.
This program is unique because it provides online lab science courses allowing students to explore active learning in biology and chemistry to support a greater understanding of concepts presented in the classroom.
This pre-professional education will explore care through clinical, diagnostic and rehabilitative services to prepare you to advance to a middle management position or a stepping stone for a master's/professional degree.
Learning Outcomes
Students will take courses in their major from the beginning and learn to:

- Demonstrate and comprehend knowledge in human performance and body function, laboratory skills, and successful scientific communication techniques.

A Bachelor of Science in Health Science could apply to various occupations in the healthcare industry, which could be applied to specialty careers such as biomedical sciences, radiology, optometry, and nutrition. - Applicants who completed coursework outside the United States must submit a transcript evaluation demonstrating U.S. equivalency.

International Applicants
International applicants are eligible to enroll in Lasell University's online bachelor's degree programs. Applicants who completed previous academic work outside the United States must have official transcripts evaluated for U.S. equivalency as part of the application process. Please note that students enrolled in online programs are not eligible to obtain an F-1 student visa.
