Candidates who complete their application for admission file will be promptly reviewed by the Graduate Admission Commitee and notified of a decision within 72 hours. In order to matriculate, admitted students are given instruction to place a non-refundable deposit reserving their place in class. International Students are required to deposit $450 to cover cost of issuing an I-20 and domestic students are required to deposit $125. Once the deposit is received, students work with their Enrollment Counselor to register for class(es).
Interested students are allowed to take a maximum of 9 credits as non-matriculated.
Master's degree candidates for most programs are eligible to receive a maximum of 9 credits of relevant graduate level coursework, taken at an accredited institution. Master of Science in Athletic Training degree candidates are eligible for a maximum of 6 graduate transfer credits and in compliance with Quinn Bill approval, Master of Science in Criminal Justice students are eligible to receive up to 6 transfer credits. Transfer credit may be awarded applied toward degree requirements under the following conditions:
Current students who wish to take graduate courses at another institution and transfer the courses into Lasell must request approval from their Advisor before registering for the course(s). ( Students who are considering this must complete the Transfer Credit Approval form. Students are required to obtain all necessary approvals before enrolling in the course(s).
Grades for courses taken at another institution are not calculated into a student's grade point average.
