Biography:

Jamie Wronka is an Assistant Professor of Health Science at Lasell University. An occupational therapist, educator, and researcher, she brings nearly two decades of clinical experience across a variety of practice settings to her teaching. Her background includes early intervention, acute care, rehabilitation, geriatric mental health, home care, K12 education, and occupational therapy education.

Drawing on these experiences, Jamie is passionate about creating engaging, supportive learning environments that help students connect classroom learning to their future professional lives. Her teaching emphasizes experiential learning, critical thinking, power skills, and the practical application of evidence, with a focus on helping students develop confidence as emerging health professionals.

Her scholarly interests center on student success and belonging in higher education, particularly the ways faculty-student relationships can shape students’ educational experiences. She is currently completing her Doctor of Education at New England College, where her dissertation explores how faculty validation and relationships influence the educational journeys of occupational therapy students.
