Athletic Creative and Digital Content and Social Media Coordinator

Position Description:
Create digital content for Lasell University Athletics: Including primary social media channels and support the efforts of the Sport Communications team. We are searching for someone who has a passion for athletics, higher education, engaging content and social media.
This role requires you to build, interact and maintain Lasell University Athletics presence across all social and digital media outlets. You will help raise the profile of Lasell Athletes and tell stories of the amazing students-athletes, coaches and staff. Day to day you lead the charge on posting, tweeting, sharing, creating and reposting content. This position reports to the Director of Sport Communications.
Potential Duties include:
- Creating timely and original content for all social media outlets for Lasell Athletics
- Increase engagement with Lasell Athletics across all social media outlets
- Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings to collaborate and plan social media strategy.
- Assist with administrative duties related to increasing visibility and promotion of Lasell Athletics
- Graphic Design and video editing preferred
- Other duties as assigned
Required qualifications and skills:
- Expert using, interacting, and monitoring all social media channels and applications
Photography/Videography - Create, maintain and manage social media calendar
- Ability to conceive, launch and execute social campaigns
- Comfortable working on multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to work with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign + Illustrator)
- Experience with Apple iMovie; Adobe Premier Pro; Final Cut Pro; and/or DaVinci Resolve
- Proven record of successful previous social media campaigns
- Strong project management skills
- Expert on technology trends
- Excellent communication skills
Experience And Educational Outcomes For Graduate Assistant:
This GA will be part of the Sports Communication team that is responsible for all owned content (including social) for the Athletic Department. This person will be responsible for our social media content from idea to execution.
