Program Overview
The Associate of Science (AS) in Health Science will provide you with a strong foundational education in the biological, behavioral, and social sciences as they relate to health, wellness, and healthcare delivery. The program is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in health-related settings while also serving as a pathway to bachelor’s-level study in health science and related disciplines.
Through a combination of core science and health-related coursework, you will develop essential knowledge, skills, and abilities in critical thinking, communication, ethical decision-making, and understanding of healthcare systems. The curriculum prepares graduates to support patient care, health services operations, and community health initiatives in a variety of healthcare settings.
The AS in Health Science is well-suited for a diverse student population seeking career advancement. Graduates of the program are prepared for a variety of entry-level roles in healthcare and health-related fields or for seamless transfer into bachelor’s degree programs in health science, exercise science, public health, or related areas.

The Associate of Science in Health Science program at Lasell University prepares learners for meaningful careers and continued academic progression in the health professions through applied, workforce-aligned education. The program provides a strong foundation in health science, critical thinking, and professional competencies with industry-recognized credentials that support workforce entry, career advancement, and seamless transfer to bachelor’s-level study. Requirements
This Health Science Associate Degree is suited for students who want to prepare for entry level jobs in the healthcare field as well as students seeking a pathway to a bachelor's degree in healthcare or a related program.

Admission Timeline: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and decisions will be sent within one week of completing an application.
Admission Requirements Checklist:

- Official College Transcript or Official High School transcript or GED record if you have less than 12 credits of college-level work
- Transcripts/diplomas with coursework completed outside the United States must be evaluated by CED, WES, or SpanTran
