Adjunct Faculty - Microsoft Excel Instructors

The Longe School of Business is seeking adjunct Microsoft Excel instructors for an in-person Spring 2024 course on our Auburndale campus. Our semester runs 1/17 through 5/6.

BUSS105, Excel for Business 8am- 9:15am Tuesdays and Thursdays

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide face to face instruction for course sessions utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
  • Maintain one office hour each week.
  • Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course content and requirements; Provide timely feedback to students and keep accurate records of their progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports (on Canvas)
  • Incorporate Canvas (online learning management system) into the course.
  • Given ongoing uncertainty due to COVID, instructors should be prepared to teach hybrid or remotely if circumstances change, and to accommodate both in-person and remote learners in the same section if necessary.
  • Proctor Microsoft Excel Exam during Finals week. 

Qualifications:
A Master's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Business Management or a related field. Expertise in and experience teaching Microsoft Excel fundamentals in preparation for the MO-200 certification exam. Preference will be given to those who are MO-200 certified, but Lasell University will support the instructor to seek certification. Prior college-level teaching experience, relevant professional experience and familiarity with online learning management systems preferred
