Writing Instructor

The Lasell College Writing Program seeks an Instructor of Writing beginning Fall of 2018.

Responsibilities: Academic responsibilities include instruction in first-year writing with a 5/5 course load; institutional responsibilities include departmental service. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence and enthusiasm in teaching and student advocacy; the ability to work cooperatively and productively with faculty, staff, and students; and a commitment to professional development. We are specifically looking for faculty who appreciate the value diverse students bring to a campus community and are eager to help foster an inclusive campus environment. Faculty members who represent the increasing diversity of our student body are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Composition and Rhetoric, English or a related field. A background in the teaching of writing at the college level is required. The ideal candidate will have active involvement in the field of rhetoric and composition as demonstrated through teaching experience and professional involvement in the field.
