Mailroom Window Hours
Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
(hours may vary)
*Mail is held for 1 month and then returned to the sender*
Full-time resident students are assigned a mailbox on the first floor of the Edwards Student Center. Your student can find their mailbox number and combination in MyLasell under the Housing link. Students are notified via email when a package has been received by the Lasell mailroom.

- Accessible from 5 a.m. to midnight, 7 days per week
- The system will notify students of a package delivery via Pitney Bowes email
- Use the barcode and instructions to retrieve your package
- Packages will be held in lockers for 5 days, after that packages will be held in the mailroom for pick up during mailroom window hours
Amazon Lockers
- The Amazon Hub Locker – Venue – 80 Maple St. @ Lasell University
- Located outside of Campus Police is accessible 24/7
- This locker may be selected as a shipping destination for Amazon purchases
- Packages can be picked up at a time convenient for you within 3 days of delivery
Beyond Campus
Lasell is located in Auburndale, a village of Newton. Our campus is just 8 miles from Boston. Here are some resources for enjoying the area.
Lasell Lingo
Every university has its own terminology. Here are few that you may hear used at Lasell:
MyLasell – Student portal with directories, links, and information about student resources. Each student has a username/password to access MyLasell.
Canvas - Canvas is Lasell's learning management system where faculty can post syllabi, assignments, readings, resources, and often grades with their students.
Self-Service - Self-Service is the system students use to register for classes. They can also check their schedule, find room locations and faculty names, and view transcripts and academic plans. Grades are also posted in Self-Service.
Starfish - Starfish is Lasell's advising software. Faculty use Starfish to provide updates to students and their advisors about their performance at various times during the semester. Student can also see and make appointments with all of the Lasell faculty and staff who are in their success network – these are people who can help them to excel such as our Academic Achievement Center, library resources, and the academic deans of each of the schools.
Handshake - Handshake is Lasell’s online hub for career resources, including local, regional, national, and international internship and job listings. Students can access Handshake through MyLasell.
SchoolDude - Platform for students to report any issues with their residence hall or room. Students can access SchoolDude through MyLasell.
ACs and RAs - Area Coordinators (ACs) are professional staff members who live on campus in residential buildings. ACs supervise RAs. Resident Assistants (RAs) are students who live in residence halls and working with ACs to support residential communities.
Symposium - Lasell celebrates student intellectual and creative discovery each semester through presentations, displays, exhibitions, and performances.

Parent Fund
The Parent Fund is a component of the Lasell Fund, which directly supports academic programs, library and technology resources, athletics, scholarships, campus life and more.
