"Professor Kerry Smith in the Exercise Science program has been a significant mentor to me during my time here at Lasell. Her background in nutrition has helped shape my academic and career goals. Through her guidance, I decided to pursue graduate school in nutrition.”

Why did you choose Lasell?
I liked the small community and pretty neighborhood that's also close to Boston and also both the Soccer team and Track and Field team made me feel very welcome.

Have you had an internship? What were your responsibilities?

I'm a Health Science major. At my internship at Neurofit, I assist individuals recovering from Traumatic Brain Injury in both physical rehabilitation and cognitive exercise groups. My role involves supporting fitness activities to improve strength and coordination while also facilitating group discussions and activities that enhance memory, communication, and overall cognitive function.

How has your academic program or professors helped prepare you for your future career?

Professor Kerry Smith in the Exercise Science program has been a significant mentor to me during my time here at Lasell, as her background in nutrition has helped shape my academic and career goals. Through her guidance, I decided to pursue graduate school in nutrition and completed my senior capstone focused on nutrition knowledge among collegiate athletes across campus.

What are your Lasell traditions or favorite activities to do on or off campus?

Spikeball in the Arnow quad!
