Why did you choose Lasell?
I knew Lasell was the school for me when I came to the university and did a tour. I knew I wanted to study fashion and heard about the fashion design and production and the fashion media and marketing programs. The community is very welcoming and friendly, and I knew I'd be able to get involved on campus right away.
The Lasell community is one of the most welcoming communities I've ever experienced. It's really like no other. The faculty and students really made that transition to college very easy for me.
What activities and organizations are you involved it?
I am the editor-in-chief of POLISHED magazine, our fashion and lifestyle magazine that's fully student run. I am also a leadership member of Blue Key Society which works with the Admission department. I am also involved with the Lasell Styling and Photography Club, am vice president of Lasell's public relations program, and am a new student orientation leader.
How has your academic program helped prepare you for your future career?
The fashion program provides lots of opportunities for networking and finding internships. Lasell also offers different merchandising courses which definitely gives you a leg up when you're looking for a job post-grad.
What are your favorite activity to do off campus?
I love to go into Boston, go thrifting with my friends, and go to the surrounding cities, whether it's Waltham or Watertown, and try different cafes.
