"My time studying abroad in Athens, Greece was an incredibly fulfilling experience! I traveled to 6 countries in Europe and Africa — Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, and Morocco. Exploring the culture through food, music, and history gave me lifelong memories. It also introduced me to many new friends from around the world! I learned about Greek mythology, child psychopathology, sociology, and I even took a pilates class! The hospitality by the people in Greece is something I will never forget. Agia Paraskevi is a lively suburb that’s a short train ride away from Downtown Athens, which made the campus for my fall abroad feel like home." (American College of Greece)

"Studying abroad is such an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone. I studied abroad in Florence through API. I traveled to 11 countries and 23 cities during the semester. I got to learn about so many different cultures and their histories. My classes and professors were also great. I enjoyed getting to learn how to make jewelry and knitwear, and I also got to learn more about Italy through my Italian and culture classes. The school, Lorenzo De Medici, has so many interesting and unique class offerings so there is something for everyone. Studying abroad has ignited a passion for travel in me and has changed my life." "Studying abroad was probably the best decision I have ever made. I went to Florence not knowing anyone in my program and I came out of it with some lifelong friends. Immersing yourself in another culture can be a little intimidating but it's also one of the most rewarding parts of studying abroad. I was able to travel throughout many different countries while I was abroad, but I also took advantage of living in Florence. Some of my favorite parts of Florence were the food, the architecture, the fashion, and the Italian lifestyle. Some of my classes at FUA included Strategic Fashion Marketing, Retail and Sales Strategies, Florentine Fashion Walks, Social Media, and Tuscany and its Wines. Each of these courses taught me something valuable that I will carry with me throughout my academic and professional career. Outside of the classroom I learned how to navigate public transportation in different cities, how to order a coffee in Italian, and to make sure you always check into your Ryan Air Flight the day before. I am forever grateful for my experience studying abroad in Florence and I can't wait to go back someday." (Florence University of the Arts through SAI)

"My time in Milan was absolutely life-changing. I’ve always dreamed of living in a walkable city focused on fashion, and I got to live that dream for four months. It was the most enlightening experience I have had yet. Learning about a different country and diving into the culture was so interesting and gave me a completely new perspective on the world. The professors also made a huge impact on me; all of them currently work in the industry and their passion was incredible. This was one of the biggest takeaways for me, as it strengthened my passion for my field and motivated me to work harder than ever during my senior year. After college, I plan to live abroad for a period of time and see many different parts of the world. Travel and the education that comes with it is something that really resonated with me. If possible, I believe this is an experience every student should take part in. The friends you make, the places you visit, ordering coffee in Italian for the first time—these are truly experiences you will never forget." (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti through SAI)

"My time abroad was a dream come true. It was the best experience I could've asked for. It is crazy how Florence became my home for 4 months and I got to really explore and immerse myself into a new culture and way of living. I got to explore many parts of Italy and seven other countries during my time abroad. Getting the chance to travel across Europe has always been the goal, and being able to see sites that left me speechless is something I'll always be grateful for. I took classes that helped me understand the culture better and got the chance to take unique courses like jewelry making. The perspective each class and travel gave to me is a lifelong memoir to my identity and craft. It is something that can’t be replicated by watching a screen, feeling culture hands on has been a gratifying lesson I will carry on proudly! " (Lorenzo de Medici through API)
