Turner has been recognized as one of the region’s 50 Most Influential Business Leaders of Color by the Charles River Regional Chamber in collaboration with Colette Phillips Communications and Get Konnected.

The list aims to shine a light on remarkable businesspeople of color and organizations that are making a difference in Greater Boston’s western suburbs. The list was released on Friday, May 19, and was shared online at charlesriverchamber.com and in a special printed publication.

This is the second time Turner has been recognized by the Chamber, as he was also named to the organization's inaugural list in 2020.

Eric Turner, Lasell's current provost,, will become the first African American president in Lasell’s 172-year history. He will succeed current Lasell President Michael B. Alexander, who will retire on June 30 after 16 years of leadership.
