Lasell University Recognized by College Reading and Learning Association for Tutor Training Excellence

Lasell University has been recognized by the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) as a Certified Tutor Training Program, an achievement that highlights the University’s commitment to academic excellence and student success through high-quality peer tutoring. 

The internationally recognized certification acknowledges institutions that meet rigorous standards for tutor selection, training, direct service, and program evaluation. To earn certification, Lasell successfully completed the International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) peer review process, demonstrating that its tutor training program aligns with CRLA’s established best practices. 

For more than 30 years, the College Reading and Learning Association has been a leader in learning assistance, reading, and academic support. The organization serves nearly 1,300 members and has certified more than 2,000 tutor training programs worldwide.
