Summer Housing
Lasell University proudly offers summer housing options for both individual interns and large external groups seeking a safe, convenient, and vibrant campus environment in the Greater Boston area.
Located in Newton, Massachusetts, our campus provides easy access to Boston’s hospitals, businesses, academic institutions, and public transportation, making Lasell an ideal summer home for students and organizations alike.
Individual Intern Housing
Lasell welcomes undergraduate and graduate students from colleges and universities across the country, as well as medical residents, fellows, and researchers completing internships or academic programs in the Boston area. Residents enjoy modern accommodations, flexible summer dates, and a supportive campus community.
Intern Housing Eligibility Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Current college/university student, medical resident, or medical fellow.
- Must provide documentation of an internship, residency, fellowship, or in-person summer coursework.
Intern Housing Features
- Suite-style with air conditioning.
- Communal kitchens.
- Access to laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, and utilities at no extra cost.
- On-campus amenities including dining, fitness facilities, study spaces, and outdoor recreation.
Summer 2026 Dates:
- Housing begins Sunday, May 24, 2026
- Housing ends Saturday, August 15, 2026
- Minimum stay: 6 weeks
- Maximum stay: 12 weeks
Large External Group Housing
Lasell University provides dedicated support for large educational, athletic, research, leadership, and professional groups needing coordinated summer residential and campus services. Our Conference and Event Services team partners with organizations to deliver customized experiences for multi-day or multi-week programs.
Group Housing Features
- Suite-style and apartment-style air-conditioned residence halls.
- Single or multiple occupancy options.
- Communal or in-unit kitchens based on building assignment.
- Laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, and utilities included.
Campus Amenities
- Dining hall meal plans and catering options.
- Classroom, meeting room, and auditorium rentals.
- Athletic facility access (planning dependent).
- 24/7 Campus Police.
Program Support Services
- Housing and rooming assignments.
- Check-in/check-out coordination.
- Dining coordination and custom meal planning.
- Event, classroom, and facility scheduling.
- Contracting, billing, and insurance support.
Group rates, building assignments, and minimum stays are determined based on group size, program needs, and availability. Early inquiries are strongly encouraged.
