- Lasell Laser Launch Program during move-in weekend for first-year, new, and transfer students who are starting in the fall
- Laser Winter Orientation for students planning to start in January
Laser Link Orientation
Laser Link Orientation is a 2-day event in June that introduces you to Lasell and all the resources available to help you be successful. Students attending this program will meet their classmates, members of the faculty and staff, and learn about meal plans, housing options and more. Transfer and Commuter students are highly encouraged to attend both sessions and be part of the specific groups tailored to their needs.
*Parent and Family Orientation take place on Day 2 of Laser Link Orientation. Information sessions and other events are planned for your family's visit. If families choose to participate, your student can register you for Parent and Family Orientation when they register for Laser Link Orientation.
Lasell Laser Launch Program
Laser Launch is Lasell University’s new comprehensive first-year transition program launching in August 2026.
This program is designed to create an intentional and seamless transition from move-in through the first several weeks of the semester, so students remain connected and engaged beyond the initial orientation experience. Students will have the opportunity to meet with their academic advisor, participate in a community service activity, and learn about community expectations and campus and local resources.
Laser Winter Orientation
This one-day orientation takes place in January and is designed for students starting in the spring semester. The program will help you adjust to Lasell University by meeting faculty, staff, and other students. You'll also have assistance in the course registration process. Registration for Laser Winter Orientation opens in January on the Welcome, New Students site.
