Meet the Educators

Kellee Miller, M.S.

Kellee Miller

Kellee is a graduate of Lasell College with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and a M.S. in Management. Before becoming the Education Director at The Barn, she was the Lead Educator of the Toddler Two classroom. In that position, she helped to foster the growth and development of the many children who were in her care from 2002-2007. In July 2007, she accepted the role as the Education Director of the Holway Child Study Center-The Barn. In August 2019, Kellee was named the Executive Director of the Holway Early Childhood Centers - Barn & Rockwell.

As Executive Director, Kellee guides the teachers of Holway ECC to implement creative curriculum based on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences. Additionally, she take pleasure in learning and recalling life's experiences through the eyes of the children. Kellee is also an Adjunct Professor at Lasell University in the School of Humanities, Education, Justice & Social Sciences.

Personal Statement: "I believe that young children learn not only through academic challenges, but through play and social interactions with peers and educators. It is also my belief that children need to be nurtured by caring educators, who can instill the appropriate skills and experiences for young children in their social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth".

Liz Riley, B.S.

Liz Riley

Liz graduated from Lasell College in 2016 earning a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Child Development. As a member of the Holway ECC team, she has worked in each of our classrooms providing care to children since 2012 as a Teacher Assistant, Classroom Educator, and Lead Educator.  In 2024 she became Associate Director of Holway ECC and currently oversees the day-to-day operations of Holway ECC – Rockwell.

Sara Miller, M.Ed.

Sara Miller

Mrs. Miller has been an Educator at The Barn for 16 years and a Lead Educator for the last 12 years. She recieved her B.S. Mount Ida and her M.Ed. from Lesley University.

Ashley Nova, B. S.

Ashley Nova

Ashley graduated from Lasell University in 2023 with a degree in Sociology and minor in Psychology. She has worked at Holway ECC since 2020 as a teacher assistant. She began her role as a full-time preschool educator in January 2024. In here free time Ashley enjoys shopping, cooking and traveling to see new beaches!

Morgan Pepe, B.S.

Morgan Pepe

Morgan Pepe graduated from UMass Boston in 2020, receiving her degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. This is Morgan's first year working at the Barn. She enjoys walking her dog, yoga, and birdwatching.

Fran Priante, B.S.

Fran Priante

Fran graduated from Framingham State University in 1991 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She began working at Holway ECC as a toddler teacher in fall 2017. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, arts & crafts, camping and hiking.

Patty Riley, CDA

Patty Riley

Patty Riley has been an Infant/Toddler Educator at Holway ECC since 2018. She earned a Child Development Associate (CDA) at Middlesex Community College in 2016. In her free time Patty enjoys cooking, shopping and watching her daughter ice-skate competitively.

Kelsey Ryan, B.S.

Kelsey Ryan

Kelsey graduated from Lasell University. While at Lasell, she worked as a Teacher's Assistant from 2017-2020. Kelsey became a full time teacher in 2021. In her free time, she loves listening to music, going to concerts, and curating playlists for any mood. She also enjoys spending as much time outside as possible in our unpredictable New England weather!

Quint Townsend, B.A.

Quint Townsend

Quint graduated from Clark University in 2020 with a degree in Psychology. He began working as a preschool teacher at the Goddard school in 2021 and joined the Holway ECC team in spring 2024. In his free time Quint enjoys skiing, singing and reading.
