Adjunct Faculty- Organizational Behavior

The School of Business is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach Organizational Behavior classes in the Fall 2019 (classes from September 9 - December 31, 2019).

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide face-to-face instruction for all sessions utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
  • Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course content and requirements
  • Maintain 1 office hour each week on campus
  • Incorporate Canvas (online learning management system) into the course
  • Keep accurate and timely records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports (on Canvas)

Qualifications:
A Master's degree or higher in Business or a related field. Professional experience in a Business industry and prior college-level teaching experience preferred.

Course Description:
BUSS224 - Organizational Behavior in a Global Environment
In this course, students study individuals and their interactions within group settings as they affect efficiencies in diverse business organizations. Group dynamics and intergroup dynamics are emphasized in relation to productivity and work satisfaction along with the examination of specific aspects of organizations that influence behavior on a global scale. Areas covered include structure, leadership, and change as they affect a multitude of cultures. Teaching modalities include case studies and role-playing. This is a writing intensive course.
