The Lasell Works Scholarship for Massachusetts Residents

The Lasell Works Scholarship for Massachusetts Residents is designed to provide an affordable, high quality private higher education for Massachusetts students. This competitive scholarship will provide selected recipients with access to the distinctive, career-focused Lasell Works program at an even greater reduced cost. Scholarship recipients will have the full cost of the program met through Pell Grant, MA State Scholarship, Stafford Loan and Institutional grant funds. Recipients will also receive a $100 credit voucher for books. The cost will be the same for resident or commuter students.

Selected candidates will be able to access career preparation, a paid part-time job, at least one professional internship, options to study abroad in Ireland, Mexico or Switzerland for no additional cost, and access to all co-curricular and athletic activities on campus. Along with:

  1. Career preparation focus of the Lasell Works program
  2. At least one internship in junior and senior years, with an opportunity for more.
  3. Eligibility for the Honors Program.


  1. High School GPA in core academic courses of 3.3 or better, as calculated by Lasell Admission Office.
  2. Eligible Massachusetts resident
  3. Family EFC, as provided on the FAFSA, of $0-500.
  4. Complete FAFSA every year within MA State Scholarship timeline
  5. An interview with a Lasell admission counselor at Lasell or at the student's high school
  6. Maintain full-time status, good academic standing and clean conduct record
  7. Agree to participate in the Lasell Works program

Scholarship recipients are determined by a committee of Lasell University admission officers.
