The Digital Media Certificate focuses on digital storytelling, digital media analytics, and the social media landscape that can help you advance your career in marketing or communications. These courses can also be used as a base to earn your MS in Communications if you decide to pursue a graduate degree at a later time.

Digital Media is an in-demand field with an expected 6% growth in upcoming years. The Digital Media Certificate program will explore how to use data analytics in social, SEO, and SEM. Using a hands-on approach through case studies and interactive assignments you'll be introduced to best social media practices while acquiring the necessary skills for managing a social media platform and developing a strategic social media plan.

The Curriculum is designed to provide the knowledge, skills, and tools that can be applied immediately to your profession. The curriculum consists of three required and two elective courses.

Requirements

Candidates seeking admission to Lasell University's Digital Media Certificate program must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and demonstrate through academic background and/or work experience the ability to succeed in graduate studies. GRE/GMAT scores are not required for admission. 

The TOEFL may be waived for international applicants who have earned a bachelor's degree at an accredited college/university in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada. All other applicants must submit a TOEFL/IELTS score.
