Lasell University Provost Eric Turner and Board of Trustees Chair Keon Holmes were both named to the Newton-Needham Regional Chamber's list of the 50 most influential business people of color.
The list showcases the plethora of professionals and executives of color making a positive contribution to the economic and social fabric of the region. This year's honorees, selected by a seven-member committee from a list of more than 200 nominations, are all employees for or sit on a board for a business or nonprofit located in Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Natick and Framingham in Massachusetts.
Outside of his role on the Lasell University Board of Trustees, Holmes serves as managing director of global investing firm Cambridge Associates.
Turner has a 30-year affiliation with Lasell University and Lasell Village as a trustee, board chair, and most recently, as vice president for graduate and professional studies.
