The Show Must Go On

June 09, 2021

Runway 2021

RUNWAY, the Lasell University School of Fashion’s annual spring showcase, featured the work of more than 100 student designers, event managers, and models in a virtual format.

The event launched in early May with two components: An undergraduate show broken down into style categories (such as non-textile design and evening wear), and the senior show.

Fashion Design and Production seniors Dylan Alves, Nina Brady, Vannessa DeMore, Emily Despelteau, Ismahan Hersi, Khalid Lai-Walters, Margaret McGovern, Jami Pelosi, Hannah Richards, Camille Sanchez, Rachel Shufflebarger, and Rose Sparrow shared their senior collections in a standalone showcase.

Creative staff and event managers rounded out the production team for both events, with show co-directors Madison Griffin and Morgan Trumbull at the helm. Undergraduate students provided support as commentators, videographers, models, graphic designers, music managers, and promotions team members.

A full program of the virtual events as well as photos and videos of student designer work can be found on the RUNWAY site.
