Lasell Viewing Party for NESN Contestant Episodes

Greg Camillone '17 and Alexandra Clancy '20, whose films are among the top 12 in NESN's Next Producer competition, will share their work with the Lasell community on Tuesday, March 20, at a viewing party open to the Lasell community.

Organized by the college's Public Relations Alliance, the event will take place at 5 p.m. in Science and Technology Center room 210 A/B, with pizza and refreshments served. Attendees will have the chance to cast their votes for the "fan favorite" on the Next Producer website and to hear directly from Camillone and Clancy about the inspiration for and process behind creating their documentary short films.

Both Camillone and Clancy have received extensive press coverage for their work, including mentions in The Boston Globe, Poughkeepsie Journal, and The Salem News. Their respective episodes originally aired on NESN on February 24 and March 10.

Only three entries will make it to the final round of competition, which entails a meeting with Boston Red Sox franchise executives followed by a video production assignment. The resulting winner of the show's third season will be announced live at a Red Sox game in April. Their efforts will be rewarded with a $20,000 cash prize and a yearlong position at NESN. In addition, the season's "fan favorite" winner, determined by viewer voting that is open until March 30, will receive a cash prize of $1,000.
