A panel of experts from various federal law enforcement agencies shared perspectives from the field with alumni, students, and prospective applicants in Lasell College's Justice Studies program.

The panel included agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration, U.S. Marshals Service, Secret Service, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the U.S. Attorney's office, the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Approximately 50 students and alumni attended the event, which is held annually and was facilitated this year by Paul DeBole, assistant professor of political science. DeBole teaches courses including "American Government and Politics" and "State and Local Government," and serves as a consultant to several state and federal agencies. His connections and expertise provided a critical network connection for students and alumni seeking law enforcement careers in government agencies.

"Our goal is to provide students with a face and network contact to match with these agencies," said DeBole. This offers a leg up for those who pursue a job or internship with those organizations, he said, since the likelihood of their interviewer being or knowing a member of the panel is high.
