Nga Do Fashion Collection, EternalFashion Design and Production student Nga Do '18 was one of 17 student designers who shared their collection at the department's 2018 runway show on April 28.

Do's collection, Eternal, consists of eight looks inspired by ballet costumes and Rococo style, which originated in Paris in the early 18th century.

"My designs feature volume and fine details to create a feminine, delicate, and elegant look," said Do in her artist's statement. "Classic techniques such as embroidery, beading, and pleating highlight ornate and sophisticated elements associated with design history."

In their capstone experience courses, "Senior Thesis Development" and "Senior Thesis Production," students refine their distinct design style and develop a personal brand. Students study trends, fabric sourcing, pattern drafting, apparel construction, and develop their own collection as a launching point for careers in the fashion industry.
