The Lasell College Communication Department is pleased to announce Alan Ives as the keynote speaker for the fifth annual COMDay.  On March 7, 2017, Mr. Ives, Vice President of ABCNews, will be speaking about "Life Streaming," creatively positioning, branding and marketing news, and information to reach audiences across all screens.

Alan Ives has headed up ABCNews Marketing and Creative since April 1999 and is the recipient of multiple Emmy awards.  In addition to Mr. Ives, the daylong event features multiple panels, film, and networking opportunities.  It is a student-run event as a way to engage with the world of media, communication, and professional pathways in communication.  The event is open to the entire Lasell community, including faculty and students from other programs who can attend panels and networking sessions with industry insiders.  

Past speakers have included the Vice President for Communications at Johnson and Johnson, the Vice President for Communications at Jet Blue Airlines, the Director of the Shorenstein Center at Harvard University, and the Editor of the  The 2016 keynote speaker was Pulitzer-Prize recipient Michael Rezendes of the Boston Globe Spotlight Team.
