Students begin classes at Lasell College

Woodland Road buzzed with excitement as classes began this week on Lasell College's 53-acre campus. The institution enters its 167th year with an incoming class of 564 new students from 18 states and 12 countries, marking a 14 percent increase in enrollment. Returning students continued their pursuit of existing degree programs while some embarked on studies in new programs, including biology and applied forensic analysis.

Among the college's newest students are 62 members of the LasellWorks program, a cost-savings initiative that pairs part-time work experience with professional development workshops and a reduced tuition scale.  

This semester, Lasell's division of Graduate and Professional Studies has more than 400 students enrolled toward degrees in 22 programs including three new programs. Graduate courses take place on campus, online, and in hybrid format, enabling students from 25 states and 18 countries to pursue their studies.
