Adjunct Faculty- Spanish Instructor

The Foreign Language program in the School of Humanities, Education, Justice & Social Sciences is seeking someone to teach Spanish 112, Elementary Spanish II, the second semester of college-level Spanish.

This is a face-to-face, in-classroom course that has been scheduled at the following time for Spring 2019:

11-12:15 Monday, Wednesday, Friday


Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop a syllabus and course outline for students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes.
• Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
• Maintain office hours each week.
• Incorporate Canvas (online learning platform) into the course.
• Keep accurate records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports.

Qualifications:
Experience teaching Spanish, as well as a master's degree or ABD in a related field are required. A willingness to incorporate the college's Connected Learning Philosophy into the course is also important.
