The School of Humanities, Education, Justice & Social Sciences at Lasell College is seeking a part-time instructor to teach a course entitled From Sounds to Sentences.

This is a face-to-face, in-classroom course that has been scheduled at the following time for Spring 2019:

8-9:15am Mondays and Wednesdays

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop a syllabus and course outline for students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes.
• Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
• Maintain office hours each week.
• Incorporate Canvas (online learning platform) into the course.
• Keep accurate records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports.

Qualifications:
Experience teaching at the college level as well as a Ph.D. in a related field preferred. Qualified applicants who are ABD or hold a master's degree will be considered. A willingness to incorporate the college's Connected Learning Philosophy into the course is also important.
