The School of Health Sciences at Lasell University seeks an adjunct professor to teach (1) section of Computer Forensics for the Cybersecurity bachelor’s degree program in the Fall 2022 semester.

Course Title: Computer Forensics
Description:
This course provides student with the opportunity to perform basic forensic techniques and use appropriate media analysis software. Basics of security, structure and protocols of network operating systems and devices are covered as students will work to gather evidence in a networked environment and to image and restore evidence properly without destroying value. Students will practice gaining evidence from a computer system while maintaining its integrity and a solid chain of custody. Within the laboratory, students will gain hands-on experience in the use of current investigative tools.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning
- Align course assignments with program learning outcomes and university core curriculum learning outcomes; provide student work samples for assessment purposes
- Incorporate Canvas (learning management system) into the course
- Maintain office hours each week
- Keep accurate records of student progress and complete mid-semester and final grade reports
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidates should have M.S, M.Ed., or equivalent (PhD preferred) in related field
- Prior undergraduate-level teaching experience
- Strong communication skills, ability to provide mentorship and guidance remotely by email, phone and or video call, and willingness to offer extensive feedback on student work Required
