The Communication Program is seeking adjunct instructors for several in-person Fall 2023 courses on our Auburndale campus. Our term runs Tue, September 5th – Mon, December 11th.
COM217 Video Production (T/Th 12:30-1:45)
COM218 Digital Video Editing (M/W 9:30-10:45 and/or T/Th 3:30-4:45)

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide face to face instruction for course sessions utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning
- Maintain 1 office hour each week
- Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course content and requirements; Provide timely feedback to students and keep accurate records of their progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports (on Canvas)
- Incorporate Canvas (online learning management system) into the course
- Given ongoing uncertainty due to COVID, instructors should be prepared to teach hybrid or remotely if circumstances change, and to accommodate both in-person and remote learners in the same section if necessary
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or higher in Communication or a related field. Prior college-level teaching experience, relevant professional experience and familiarity with online learning management systems preferred
