COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

After consulting with health and medical officials and with the University’s goal to open fully in the Fall and provide a safe campus for our community, we have decided to require the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone on campus – students, employees, and our valued partners. This decision, made by the COVID-19 Task Force in consultation with senior management, will allow Lasell to open our campus with minimal restrictions, thus providing our students with the best possible experience, both academically and socially.

All employees are required to upload vaccination documentation into PAYCOM by August 1, 2021. (To login to Paycom, go to my.lasell.edu and click on the employees tab and then select Paycom - Employee Self-Service.) Employees who plan to request a medical or religious exemption are required to reach out to the Director of Health Services, Richard Arnold (RArnold@lasell.edu) before July 26.

If employees have a technical issue uploading a photo of their vaccine card, they can contact Daniel O’Connell in Human Resources via DOConnell@lasell.edu.

If you have not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine, it is now widely available to all adults. You can make an appointment at https://vaxfinder.mass.gov/ or walk into Walgreens or CVS. Employees are free to choose among any of the vaccine brands currently authorized by the FDA. You may take paid sick leave if you need time off to get vaccinated or recover from any side effects.
