The International Welcome Program creates bonds between new international students and returning Lasell students. The purpose is to bring together international and domestic students for multicultural friendship and mutual support.
New international students will learn about Lasell, the local community, and North American culture. The Welcome Committee members will have the opportunity to learn about the culture, language, and country of the students in their group!
At the beginning of each semester, new international students are welcomed at a Kickoff Cookout and Game Day when they will be introduced to each other and the International Welcome Committee members. Throughout the semester, small intercultural groups of 4-5 students will plan their own fun excursions and activities once a month.
New International Students
As a new international student, you can sign up to participate in International Welcome Program at the beginning of your first semester, whether the fall or spring semester. You will join a small group along with other new international students and returning students who can help you adjust to life at Lasell.
Returning Students
International Welcome Committee members are current Lasell students selected to welcome new international students to the Lasell community and assist them during their first semester.
