Graduate Students

Lasell University

Save the date!

Commencement will be held on Taylor Field Saturday, May 16, 2020, beginning at 11:00 A.M.  The ceremony will run for approximately 2.5 hours. Graduates participating in commencement must check-in that morning no later than 9:30 A.M.

All graduates who are participating in Commencement should meet in the Science and Technology Center on the day of Commencement no later than 9:30 a.m. During this time, graduates will line up in preparation for the ceremony. Students should not bring handbags or personal items, as there is no way to secure the lineup room during the ceremony.

There is no limit to the number of people each graduate student may bring to commencement, and tickets are not required.  Seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.

You should plan to attend the entire ceremony. Graduate students sit in the front of the tent, right before the platform where the Lasell President, invited speakers, faculty, and staff are seated. Graduate student diplomas are awarded first followed by undergraduates. In respect to the entire Lasell community, students are asked to remain in their seats until the final diplomas are awarded and the recessional begins.
