Bio: There are so many things about Lasell College that it is difficult to choose just one. The one thing that really stands out is the amount of opportunities that students have access to. No matter what you are involved in, the opportunities are endless. I joined SGA my First Year as President of the Class of 2018, for two years, and have been on as Vice President of Financial Affairs and now President. The main reason I joined SGA is because I wanted to be the voice of my class and now the entire student body. A fun fact about myself would be that I have had 6 wisdom teeth removed.

Bio: The thing I like about Lasell is the location from my hometown (only 1 hour away) and the small class sizes. Here you are not just a number, but rather a person. I joined SGA because I wanted to get involved on campus and develop my leadership skills. These are two things that SGA helps people the most. A fun fact about me is that I am the youngest of five brothers in my family.

Bio: My name is Ghizzy and my favorite thing about Lasell is being able to have access to anyone and everything at my fingertips. As well as the small campus feel making all my classes and professors all the more valuable to me.

Bio: Something I love about Lasell is walking around campus to different activities and saying hello to everyone. I joined SGA to assure that all student's voices would be heard to improve our campus in all ways possible. A fact about me is that I have a pet fish named Orca who always follows me home and back here to Lasell.

Bio: My favorite thing about Lasell is all of the opportunities that the college has to offer! As students, we are building connects all of the time, have access to some of the greatest internships, and most importantly, we are constantly evolving as individuals. As the Senior Class President, I joined SGA as a representative of the Class of 2018 and ensure that their voices are being heard and their concerns are being acknowledged in order to implement change around campus. Finally, a fun fact about me is that I can juggle!

Bio:As a transfer student, I wanted to go to a school that allowed me to get hands on training while being close to a major city. Lasell offers so many opportunities to their students while the professors really get a chance to know you. Having to do an internship as a requirement is one of the top reasons I came because it allows you to get that real world experience before you graduate. I joined SGA because I wanted to have a voice for those who feel like they do not, while also being able to put on events that the student body would enjoy. A fun fact about me is that I was in the Air Force for 5 months before going to college.

Bio: My name is James Kappatos, I am a sophomore Communications Major from Seekonk, MA. On the Student Government Association (SGA) I stand as the Sophomore Class President and act as the voice for the Class of 2020. Here at Lasell, I am a part of a small thriving community of multigenerational learners, all In Pursuit of Great which is why I love this institution so much. I can truly reach new heights as I progress through the Connected Learning philosophy at Lasell. When I am not at school, I love to shoot archery, and spend time with my family!

Bio: My favorite thing about Lasell is that the community is so close knit and lively. I joined SGA because I want to get involved in campus activities and events as a freshman and make sure our class has representation. A fun fact about me is that I actually have an extra rib on my left side!

Bio: My favorite thing about Lasell is the campus. It is a beautiful campus that feels like a close knit community, and it is so easy to get to Boston. I joined SGA because I wanted a way to get involved and make a difference on campus. It is a great way to have your voice heard and help voice the opinions of other students. A fun fact about me is that in the Spring 2017 Semester, I was able to study abroad for four months in Switzerland! While there, I had the opportunity to travel to 20 cities in 11 different countries.

Bio: My favorite thing about Lasell is the close-knit community feel that is present on this campus. I joined SGA because I have always been good at voicing my opinions and coming up with ideas, and now I really want to help play a role in bringing change to Lasell. I love being outdoors. I spend almost all of me free time outside being active in some way.

Bio:Hi, I'm Alexa. My favorite thing about Lasell is the atmosphere around campus. Being that it is a small school, everyone knows one another and it offers a great community. Going off that, there reason I joined SGA was to help my fellow students and faculty to make Lasell a better campus. SGA is also a great way to gain experience and knowledge. And a fun fact about myself is that I am a huge dog lover and will probably, most likely find a dog no matter where I am.

Bio: As a current junior at Lasell, I am excited to join SGA as a Senator for my second year in a row. I take pride in our school and want to help it continue to grow and prosper. I am also very motivated by my peers at Lasell and find it a privilege to work alongside them all. The main reason I joined SGA was because I wanted to learn more about Lasell and all the people involved making it the school that it is as well as be a voice for the student body. A fun fact about me is that I have traveled to five different countries within one month!

Bio: Lasell College has become my home away from home, and I am confident that being a student here has made me a better person. One of my favorite things about the school is the connected learning philosophy. It is easy to connect with other students, professors, and the outside world through the school's community environment. I joined SGA my Sophomore year as a Senator, and have continued with my role as such. I ran for this position because I wanted to be an active Lasell student and have an impact on bringing change to the campus. A fun fact about myself is that I studied abroad for a semester in Sevilla, Spain!

Bio:  When I am not dancing to Afro-beats or trying to sing Beyoncé, I am a full time student on campus and off campus. I am beyond passionate about Lasell's motive to push more diversity and inclusion initiatives and/or objectives. Being on SGA has helped me become a better advocate for making changes on campus and highlight the growth that has been made thus far. I am ecstatic about the recognition I have received and only hope to keep prospering and being a positive influence for the student body. I am also the President of the Multicultural Student Union, which is beyond enjoyable to run this club.

Bio: My name is Marina Christmas and I am a Senior and Commuter President here at Lasell College. Lasell is a great college to attend if you're looking for great opportunities and not to be overwhelmed by a huge campus. Those things are what make me proud of attending Lasell along with being on SGA. I joined SGA to be more involved with the community of the school and try to make a change, especially with commuters. A fun fact would be is that I am one of few to be the youngest students to attend Lasell because my birthday is on a Leap Year.


Name: Jennifer "Jenny" Granger
Position: Director of Student Activites and Orientation and SGA Advisor
Bio: My name is Jennifer L. Granger and most friends and family call me Jenny. I am originally from West Springfield, MA and currently live in Waltham, MA. I just moved to Waltham this summer with my fiancée, Ben, after living in Boston, MA for a decade. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth for my undergrad studies in history and graduated from the University of Vermont for my graduate studies in higher education and student affairs administration. I am currently pursuing my doctor in education degree from Northeastern University. I have worked at Lasell College for the last ten years and have served SGA for seven of those years. I have served as the Assistant Director of Student Activities and the Director of Student Activities and Orientation. I enjoy traveling and vacationing all over New England, watching TV, listening to music, going for walks, spending time at the beach, going to concerts & shows, and spending time with loved ones.
