1942 | Class Secretary: Trudy Ruch Kauffman

Trudy Ruch Kauffman took her family on a delightful Windstar cruise in December. They flew to Costa Rica and from there took interesting excursions from several ports. They returned home via the Panama Canal.

Kathryn Starkey Litehiser lives with her sister in a retirement home in Rochester, Minnesota. Her mother graduated from Lasell in 1917 and has passed away, but Litehiser notes that this year would have been her 100th reunion.

1953 | Class Secretary: Shirley Gibbons San Soucie

Dot Day Bardarson lives in Seward, Alaska. At the Kenai Fjords Nationa lPark (where seasonal visitors keep her art business alive), one of her watercolors won an honorable mention in a national juried show. She also placed third overall in a 1980s cross country race, where she previously held the record. She shares that "life is good," and said her eight grandchildren keep her busy.

Janet Ash Chase was fortunate to avoid rising waters in the recent hurricane in Houston. She is doing well; she has some medical problems, but is still able to drive to church and local stores from her patio home community with a pool and great neighbors.

Shirley Vara Gallerani met with Mary Ann Donahue '53, Louise Dawe Turner '53, and Jeannette Roberts Mann '53 in Sandwich, Massachusetts, for a mini class reunion. Shirley is on the board of overseers and frequents campus for meetings and events. She encourages everyone to "come back to campus to see the beautiful new Dunne House."

Barbara Crossley Kelling recently had a knee replacement, but is doing well. She had five children, now four as one is deceased. Her children live close by and are very helpful. She notes that "a total of 13 grandchildren keep me busy."

Elsie Knaus Klemt still enjoys the mountains of western North Carolina after 26 years. She keeps busy by volunteering at the local library, visitor's center, and the children's museum. She also sings in the Hendersonville Choral Group.

Nancy Leonard Lindsay moved back to Connecticut several years ago, though she still misses her previous home in Vermont. She has kept busy raising her 11-year-old granddaughter; taking her to school activities, Girl Scouts, dance, and art classes. She notes her health remains good and she is "keeping young with all of these activities."

Jeanette Mann Roberts still spends her time in West Dennis, Massachusetts, and looks forward to a get-together in Harwich in September. Her husband passed away 20 years ago, but she still takes trips to New Jersey to visit family and friends.

Mary Potter Page is happily retired. She spends her winters in Florida and her summers in Gloucester, Massachusetts. She is the proud great grandmother of 7-year-old Alessandro!

Judy Andrews Robinson still lives in Youngsville, North Carolina, though she formerly resided in Idaho. She misses Idaho's beautiful rural area and also misses the young essence of Martha's Vineyard. Judy has many memories of beachside lunches with Shirley Gibbons San Soucie '53 and lengthy summer vacation bike rides on the island.

Shirley Gibbons San Soucie was a caregiver to a lovely family and two elderly female patients prior to her retirement. She would love to hear from or see anyone from the class of 1953 who visits Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard.

1955 | Class Secretary: Bobbie Jennings

Priscilla Fenton Abercrombie continues to enjoy life in her retirement community, which offers perks including three meals a day, apartment cleaning, weekly laundry, and endless activities. She and her husband had to flee their Santa Rosa, California, home in October as a result of terrible wildfires. Fortunately, their facility was saved.

Darrylle Donahue Curran attended Lasell for her freshman year only before opting to get married the following year. She loves reading Leaves and wonders if anyone has been in contact with Woodland friends Barbara Haeberle and Betty Lally. She hopes they will read this column and respond!

Judy Bowen Horky and her husband have settled into their home in California, where Judy notes "a change in weather and altitude" from their previous home in Colorado. She is writing a sequel to her first book, Ageless, Never Too Old, Never Too Late, which will be about the challenges faced by 82-year-olds. She is open to suggestions for the book and also seeks out anyone from Draper who would like to be in touch.

Ann Harris Hughes and her husband moved to a retirement community after 58 years in their home. She writes from Peabody, Massachusetts, that "it was quite a change, but we are getting used to it." She reports the loss of dear friend Mildred Monahan Regan '55, who passed away last December.

Bobbie Jennings had a scare in January when a false alarm indicated that Hawaii might be struck by a ballistic missile. Though it was a false alarm, she reports, "We were not told that until after we endured a 15-minute life threatening scare." A camping trip through Bryce Canyon and Zion national parks this spring will round out her major travels for the year.

Judith Lanese Karazulas is still a real estate associate after 32 years in the industry. She helps first-time buyers and seniors looking to move. She is busy organizing school reunions including her own and one for a friend, and is helping another friend set up a new online business. She still finds time for a book club and tournament bridge, and is in touch with Mary Sweenor Ruggieri '55.

Lucille Marden Randall was busy over the Christmas holiday volunteering with several charitable organizations. As a Florida resident, she was helping refugees from Puerto Rico among other efforts.

Audrey Silver Rogers and her husband have given up on taking long international trips, but they still travel from their home in Rhode Island to visit family in Florida. In the summer, they spend time on a lake in New Hampshire. Aubrey keeps in touch with Sue Sherrill Seggel '55 and Carol Cunningham Kiley '55.

1956 | Class Secretary: Margaret "Peggy" Kraft

1958 | Class Secretary: MaryAnn Fuller Young

Donna Purrington Bossa and Keith Bossa have called Fairfield, Connecticut, home for more than 50 years. She has been a real estate agent for 27 years. Their combined families total around 40 individuals. She stays in touch with Judy Butler Weppel '58 and Renie Crowder Merullo '58.

Eleanor "Peg" Margaret Eaton has been raising her grandson from age 8 to 16 and is relearning about teens. They recently vacationed in Punta Cana. She sends hugs to all!

Nancy Saprgo Goodridge has nearly completed her bucket list after a recent cruise and trip to the Amazon. For 30 years, Nancy has been traveling between Wilmington and a spot between Pompano and Hillsboro Beach. Nancy retired after 35 years with Gore-Tex.

Brenda Holbrook Kane moved to Bradenton, Florida, and enjoys helping out with grandchildren and visiting with family. Terry Brahe Lanham is looking forward to her reunion. She loves living in Hilton Head, South Carolina, near the ocean, and having grandchildren visit. Her husband, Bob, passed away in 2016.

Jan McPherson Pretto is looking forward to a new life in a condo retirement center in Pleasanton, California, closer to her children.

Patsy Graff Suydam '58 received this year's Equality Award from the Elizabeth Cady Stanton Hometown Association. The award is presented annually to a strong female role model in the community. In addition to her successful career, she is also an active community volunteer who works for a number of causes to improve the lives of women and girls.

Connie Reid Towne enjoys Maine and having her family close by. Her daughter participated in a National Olympic Triathlon in Burlington, Vermont.

Judy Butler Weppel moved to Nashville, Tennessee, to be near her daughter and grandsons, Gave (age 10) and Max (age 6). Judy met a retired Navy captain and, in her words, "they have a wonderful time together and attend all activities that Nashville has to offer."

Mary Ann Fuller Young thanks all who responded to her request for news and greetings. She hopes that her class's upcoming reunion is bigger and better than ever this year, noting that "it depends who shows up, and I hope you will! Get up and go while the going is good!"

1960 Barbara Jacoby Adelstein actively paints, swims, and plays Scrabble. Her grandchildren are Ellie (age 15), Kayla (age 12), Leila (age 11), and Charlie (age 9).

1961 | Class Secretary: Elaine Butler Ryan

Lynn LaFontaine Dixon continues to make family memories. She and her sisters, their daughters, and granddaughters - 10 altogether - spent four days in New York City just after Christmas. Despite cold temperatures, they had a wonderful time and particularly enjoyed the train ride from Southern Pines, North Carolina. Lynn notes that if there is a next time, "it will be in the spring!"

Betty Hood enjoyed a cruise in October that departed from Venice. She especially loved Croatia and Greece. Betty and her roommate from Cushing, Joan Franke Neustaedter '61, spent a wonderful New Year's Eve weekend together.

Nan Sparks Hunter retired from Wyndham Resorts in May 2017. Her first great-granddaughter was born in February! Nan notes she hasn't been on any big trips lately, but she has a wonderful significant other of three years with whom she enjoys hiking and cycling.

Elaine Butler Ryan reminds her classmates to update her or the alumni relations office with any email or address changes. She notes there are many classmates without email addresses and that she would "love to hear from you all!"

1963 | Class Secretary: Gail Grange Johnson

1965 | Susanne Benz Sweeny published her book, Transform Stress into Strength: Getting Control of Your Life, Your Mind, and Your Time. She will travel to Europe this spring for a book signing tour.

1967 | Class Secretary: Katherine McDonough Ryan

Elizabeth Webb Cheney writes that she and her spouse, Ann, joined two other women in a 40-foot RV last summer and drove from New Hampshire to the Dakotas and back. They camped along the way while touring big oil company sites, acres of farmland, and Mount Rushmore.

Katie McDonough Ryan has been spending time in Charleston, South Carolina, with her daughter and family. Katie wonders if anyone from the class of 1967 would be interested in a mini Cape Cod reunion this summer and to contact her via email if you have interest.

Jane Angelilli Yarbrough says that it was wonderful to see fellow classmates at their reunion last year. She enjoyed seeing campus again, reuniting with old friends, and making new ones. She enjoys keeping in touch and is interested in connecting with other 1967 graduates on Facebook.

1968 | Class Secretary: Cynthia Rardin Crawford

Chieko Sasaki Sagiike fondly remembers her years at Lasell. She and her husband, Jerry, have two daughters and a 12-year-old grandson. She is not sure if she will attend her class' 50th reunion but would love to visit campus again. She sends her regards from Tokyo to her friends from Lasell.

Dale Tufts Yale is retired but keeps busy with her husband, Glenn, traveling between Salem, Massachusetts, and Naples, Maine. She serves on the planning board in Salem and co-chairs the board of directors of a group that seeks to repurpose a former historic church building into an arts and community center. When in Maine, she gets together with Mary Millard Aldrich '68. She and Ruth Woods Thibodeau '68 are working to gather former Gardner and Keever classmates for their upcoming reunion.

1992 | Jillian Peterson Hines moved to San Diego from New Hampshire after 22 years to be with her four adult children and two grandchildren. Before moving to California, she worked at SNHU in the online division. Now, she works as the director of student services at Southern California Seminary. At Lasell, Jillian lived on campus with her daughter, Halee, who is now 26 and has two sons. Jillian notes Lasell is a huge part of who she is, and the friends she made there are lifelong friends. She is also amazed at the growth of the college!

2002 | Christian Dumais is currently the Ward 3 city councilor for Marlborough, Massachusetts.

2003 | Class Secretary: E. Ashley Seybold

Karin Fontanez was ordained into full ministry as a reverend of counseling and crisis intervention for the American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts in July 2017.

Jenn Stanley Lauriat is now a student support coordinator for Johnston Public School's preschool in Johnston, Rhode Island.

James "Jimmy" Martin left his job at Timberland in September and is now the product development project lead at New Balance.

Ashley Seybold is now a recruiter operations manager at Agero.

Ami Ruehrwein Wall and husband Troy Wall '05 welcomed baby London McKenzie Wall on May 2, 2017. London joins big sister, Olivia Grace.

Elizabeth D'Esopo Bauch will graduate from Lasell this year with a master's degree in criminal justice.

Alex Dannon will start a new job as the district data coordinator and varsity boy's lacrosse coach for the Wallkill school district in New York. On October 29, 2017, the Dannon family welcomed their second child, Derek Alexander Dannon!

Aida Mejia and her partner of seven years, Eric Fergen, were married on October 28, 2017, in Maryland. Aida recently moved to the Midwest and is living in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Jennifer Watts Peters and her husband, Dan, welcomed a new baby girl, Vivian Lorraine Peters (5 pounds, 11 ounces), on August 24, 2017, in Providence, Rhode Island.

Holly Jobbagy Haveles and her husband welcomed Kensington Rose on December 24, 2017. She was born at just over 4 pounds and has proven to be a strong and feisty peanut!

Rebecca Ladner Hatch and her husband welcomed their fourth son on December 22, 2017.

Cortney Bailey Ulm married Jason Ulm on November 23, 2017, at their family cabin in Lincoln, Maine.

Meagan Cann Neville was married in August 2017. She also opened her own business in her hometown of Danbury, Connecticut, in September 2016. The venture, Workspace Collective, is a unique retail and design boutique.

Ashley Luongo was married in September 2017.

Kelly Lenihan Spencer and her husband, William Spencer, welcomed their first baby boy in December 2017.

2011 | Class Secretary: Kimberly Hooper

Emmalyn Anderson became engaged to Jacobi Reid on January 4, 2018, during a trip to Florida.

Megan Gobeille and Jon Jagelsky (University of New Hampshire classof 2012) are engaged to be married on September 7, 2018, after five years of dating.

Catherine Haydock recently became a certified yoga teacher. She works at a yoga studio in Cambridge and hopes to teach yoga to children in the near future.

Kimberly Hooper married Joshua Gladman on October 14, 2017.

Danielle Mandeville became engaged to fiancé Michael Reffitt on July 4, 2017. They are planning a September 2018 wedding in Newport, Rhode Island. She recently celebrated one year of work as a corporate recruiter at Carousel Industries.

Samantha Marquis and Aric Kiesman are thrilled to announce their engagement. They met in 2014 and currently reside in Windham, New Hampshire, with their dog, Bowie.

Elizabeth Barry became engaged on July 1, 2017, and plans to get married in Arlington, Virginia, on September 15, 2018.

Conor Devlin is currently enrolled in a digital media master's program at Northeastern University.

Jason Donovan is currently a front office manager at the Hyatt House in Waltham. He is working on obtaining his real estate license.

Caitlin Fitzgerald recently started a position with Great American as an associate writer.

Tyler Hess moved to Somerville after graduation and currently works as a claims adjuster at Plymouth Rock Assurance in downtown Boston. He was recently promoted from the property damage unit to the bodily injury unit.

Brittany Korbel received her master's in education in student affairs counseling from Bridgewater State University in May. She recently began a new job at Dean College as a student programs coordinator and resident director.

Marco Roberto Sancho began his career in banking this past August at People's United Bank in his hometown of Wilton, Connecticut.

Joseph Schweizer is a licensed insurance agent in commercial insurance. He currently lives in San Diego.

Liam Van Keuren moved to Newton and is working in Westford as an IT recruiter at Sullivan and Cogliano.

Haile Verville recently began work at the Natick Solider Systems Center as a clothing designer. She got engaged in October 2017.

2016 | Class Secretary: Jordan Dalpe

Marwan Albazie started a new job as a marketing and communications analyst at Takamol Holding in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Dave Allen started a position in July at General Dynamics Electric Boat, the leading nuclear sub contractor in the United States. He is part of their make-to-buy program.

Christina Caraco is working toward her master of science degree in forensic psychology at American International College.

Dan Capulli works for CSRA as a background investigator servicing the South Shore area. CSRA works for the Department of Homeland Security by investigating members of the government looking to attain different levels of security clearance.

Darius Corcoran started a new job as an IT educational technician for Hopedale Public Schools in Hopedale, Massachusetts. He is responsible for software, hardware training, and more.

Jordan Dalpe started a new job in June 2017 as a banquet supervisor for Foxwoods Resort and Casino.

Mark Davidson was recently promoted to a supervisor position at Northeast Security and lives in Jamaica Plain. He started an online marketing platform with Market America and, where users can create a shopping annuity by turning spending into earnings.

Chloe Fimlaid started a new job as a product development designer at TJX. She also moved into an apartment in Newton with other Lasell alumni.

Jennie Garrepy was promoted to lead graphic designer at Continuum Managed Services, which is located in downtown Boston and is the only channel-exclusive IT management platform for managed service providers. She also moved in with her boyfriend, Jason Donovan '15, to a place on the South Shore and adopted a cat, Luxor!

Bryant Leitao recently moved back to the Lasell area this fall for a new position at Fitness Together in Waltham. At Fitness Together, they provide private one-on-one as well as small group sessions that are focused on accountability and lifestyle modification. Bryant is glad to be back in the area.

Anthony Matthews is working at Edge Performance Systems in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

RJ O'Brien is working at Global Partners in Waltham, right across the river from Lasell!

Tatum Schladenhauffen had a beautiful baby girl, Olivia Anne Brown, on March 8, 2017.

Jill Sliby moved to Stoneham, Massachusetts, and has been a production associate at VideoLink for a year.

Gary Trottier is a personal trainer and meditation coach for professional and collegiate athletes. He is working toward a master's degree in mindfulness studies at Lesley University.

Kelli Smith completed Lasell's master's program in sport management.

2017 | Class Secretary: Megan Hanlon

Mary Jo Fisher is currently working at Fitness by Design in Berlin, Connecticut.

Evelyn Sainato works at Bakers Best Catering in their catering sales and corporate account management department.

Garett Upson is enrolled at UMass Lowell as an MBA student focused on marketing and is currently interning at Inkcups in the marketing department. He became engaged to Marisa Amelia in December 2017.
