Thomas Hunt
Director of Student Financial Planning

Thomas Hunt previously served as Associate Director of Student Financial Planning with Lasell University for 10 years. He also has extensive experience working in the financial aid industry.

What does your job as Director of Student Financial Planning primarily entail?

"As director, I spend most of my time managing the process in our office that ensures all eligible students are provided fair and equitable access to financial aid, while awarding and disbursing that aid in a timely manner within the boundaries of federal, state and institutional regulations and policies."

What’s the best kind of advice you can give students who are not familiar with applying for financial aid?

"I think the best advice I can share is to not be intimidated by the process, ask questions if needed, and file your FAFSA early. Also read everything we send to you, by email and snail mail!"
