Why did you choose your major at Lasell?
When I was searching for colleges, I wanted to work in the front office for a MLB franchise so I was attracted to Lasell for its connections to a MLB franchise. Now, I want to earn my doctorate degree and teach students similar to my professors at Lasell now.

What was it that brought you to Lasell?
I liked its close connection to Boston and the major sport franchises. With all of the colleges and universities in the area, I thought it would be an opportune location to build connections and enter the sport industry.

What activities are you involved in or have been involved in (clubs, activities, athletics, etc.)?
Currently, I work for the athletic operations staff for the athletic department and the Donahue Institute for Ethics, Diversity, and Inclusion. I am the President of Sport Management Association and journalist for the 1851 Chronicle. Also, I am a Resident Assistant for upperclassmen in West Hall.

Any internship you may have done, or are looking to do?
I have completed two internships and starting my third next semester. In my freshman year, I worked directly with Lasell's former Sport Information Director for my 150 hour internship. The following semester I worked for facilities and operations department for Boston College's men's and women's soccer and football teams. In the Spring Semester of 2018, I will be completing an internship with the Donahue Institute to facilitate discussions and offer resources to students to discuss social issues in and outside of the Lasell community.

Favorite class you have taken at Lasell and why?
My favorite class at Lasell was called "Baseball." Professor Dan Sargeant taught the class and we talked about current issues in baseball, visited the National Baseball Hall of Fame, completed a research project on the Hall of Fame voting process and had many discussions regarding baseball. I learned an incredible amount about the game and truly enjoyed going to class each morning.

What do you like to do off campus or in Boston?
As a Food Enthusiast, I love visiting new restaurants in Boston. There are so many to choose from and they are not too far away either. While some can be expensive, if you choose correctly, then you can find some great food for even better prices. I recommend the food truck or restaurant at Fort Point called Bon Me. It has a beautiful location and great food too!

Do you have an interesting story or great memory from Lasell that you would be willing to share?
My favorite memory of Lasell was the opportunity to go to present at the Cooperstown Symposium on Baseball and American Culture at the National Baseball Hall of Fame with my research partner and professor. It was an incredible experience to present in their main theater. Also, it was a really fun time listening to the presentations all focused on baseball topics and spending time with people too!
